How to Improve Performance in Excel 2013

Is Microsoft Excel 2013 running slow on your machine? Tired of the lag when switching cells? You’re not alone. Many people that have recently upgraded from Office 2010 to Office 2013 have noticed that the application performance when using Excel is subpar. Don’t worry. There’s a solution that should improve your experience.

Turning Off Unnecessary Animations in Windows 7

1) Go to the “Start Menu” and select “Control Panel”

2) In the “Control Panel”, select “Ease of Access”

3) Select “Use the computer without a display”

4) In the “Adjust time limits and and flashing visuals” section, check the “Turn off all unncessary animations  (when possible)” checkbox.
