Thrive has accelerated growth with its recent investment from Court Square Capital Partners, and the ONI acquisition marks the company’s initial steps to significantly increase its geographic footprint, both domestically and internationally.
Thrive expands abroad and gains Tier-3 data centreUS-based managed service provider Thrive has kick-started its international expansion with the acquisition of UK network, cloud and data centre services firm ONI.
Luton (pictured), Bedfordshire-based ONI operates its own Tier-3+ data centre to deliver its cloud services and is a Cisco Gold partner. It provides IaaS, backup and disaster recovery, unified comms and contact centre as-a-service, among other services.
Thrive was recently financially backed by Court Square Capital Partners, and the ONI deal is the first move made by Thrive to expand its footprint outside the US.

The deal extends Thrive from the United States into the United Kingdom, and gives Thrive a data center footprint in Europe. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
