Employee Spotlight: Robin Christie, Client Engagement Manager
Welcome back to another installment of our “Thrive Employee Spotlight” blog series.
Our featured Thrive Employee is Robin Christie. Robin is the Client Engagement Manager for the New England region at Thrive.
Robin has spent four years at Thrive as a Client Engagement Manager. She is the first contact with new customers. She assists clients in transitioning from the sales team to the implementation team when they sign up for the Thrive Platform.
Robin lives in Massachusetts with her husband. You can usually find her at high school sporting events cheering on her children. Next year, they will officially be empty nesters!
Hi Robin! Can you tell us about your background and how you came to Thrive?
I have a diverse background that’s kind of like a Jackson Pollack painting — a mixture of various jobs and experiences to create the canvas that I work in today. My career has always primarily focused on customer service. I was a flight attendant, office manager at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and worked at restaurants and golf courses. I was even a carhop at an A&W root beer stand.
I previously worked with Rob Stephenson (Thrive’s CEO) at a startup company. When I heard the news there was an opening at his company, I jumped at the chance to apply! I started my career in the telecommunications industry at CTC Communications/Tierpoint before coming to Thrive.
Where did you go to school or get training?
I graduated with a business degree from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.
What do you most enjoy about working for Thrive?
The PEOPLE! Thrive has brought together the most talented group of people. I can’t say enough about the individuals that work here. People may not always look forward to going to work each day, but I always look forward to working with this team.
