Foxborough-based Thrive acquired DSM, a Florida-based company that provides IT services to government agencies.Terms were not disclosed.

Thrive, a provider of cybersecurity and digital transformation managed services, is acquiring  Connecticut-based Edge Technology Group, a leading global technology advisory and fully-managed IT service provider for alternative investment managers.

The acquisition of Edge Technology Group adds new global offices and data centers across the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines, strengthening Thrive’s international presence for all customers.

Thrive, a premier provider of cybersecurity and digital transformation managed services, announced that it has acquired Connecticut-based Edge Technology Group, a global technology advisory and fully-managed IT service provider for alternative investment managers.

The acquisition adds new global offices and data centers across Australia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore and the United Kingdom, strengthening Thrive’s international presence.

Edge clients, including hedge funds, private equity firms, family offices, and asset managers worldwide will benefit from Thrive’s next-generation managed cybersecurity, collaboration and cloud services.

Cybersecurity company Thrive announced its acquisition of Edge Technology Group, a business that targets private equity firms, asset managers and other financial service providers with its financial services IT and advisory solutions. A press release noted Thrive, which is backed by middle-market private equity firm Court Square, will support its global expansion with the opening of new global offices and data centers in the U.K., Australia and across Asia. Edge’s existing financial services clients will gain access to Thrive cybersecurity and cloud solutions as a result of the acquisition, the press release said.

Thrive, a next-gen MSP backed by private equity firm Court Square Capital Partners, has acquired Edge Technology Group to expand its expertise in the financial services vertical market. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The managed service platform provider wants to win new state, local and education contracts via DSM while also increasing services to its existing clients. DSM provides data protection and other digital features.

The acquisition will enable DSM’s existing government and corporate clients to benefit from Thrive’s next-generation managed cybersecurity, global Cloud footprint, and Microsoft collaboration services while strengthening Thrive’s offering to SLED agencies across the US.
