The company, which offered online booking, service management, and online learning, was looking to migrate its IT services to the private Cloud. While some solutions weren’t Cloud-ready, the company needed a partner that had expertise across both the Cloud and on-premises environments and could deploy a phased migration of systems while ensuring minimal disruption to the services that its customers depend on.

SOLUTION

Next, Thrive implemented a Cloud backup service with full disaster recovery to ensure business continuity. With a pending office move, the company also wanted to co-locate a separate business within the same Cloud. Thrive provided the same Cloud service with off-site backup and disaster recovery capability to ensure site redundancy. This migration of hardware to the Thrive facility paved the way to the full migration to an IaaS solution and operation within a virtualised environment.
