Position Overview:
This is a customer-facing SharePoint administrator and farm architecture role. Working with Thrive’s deep pool of infrastructure engineers, you will be responsible for designing new on-primise farms, analyzing and improving existing farms, patching, upgrading, and maintaining multiple SharePoint environments, and proactively monitoring our customers’ SharePoint farms using our remote-monitoring tooling. You will also serve as a subject matter expert for SharePoint capabilities both on-premise and in O365. You will consult on capabilities, best practices, techniques, and tips for our customer SharePoint initiatives, and provide training and support to customer resources on a recurring basis.

- SharePoint admin with strong breadth of feature knowledge and experience
- On-prem farm architecture and administration of small-to-medium farms
- PowerShell
- O365 ecosystem (Teams, Flow, …)
- Cloud migration and hybrid experience
- SQL Server DBA
- Architect small-to-medium Always-On clusters
- DR and HA planning, documentation, and execution
- Performance tuning configuration
- Index, stats, cache, and other tuning capabilities
- Azure integration and workflow
- Logic Apps
- Azure App Services and possibly Functions
- Development exposure to
- Services integration experience (SOA, microservices, hub/spoke, ESB, roll-your-own)
- .NET web services
- API interaction (REST and some SOAP)
- SQL queries and stored procedures
